Pathways is a creative employability programme that provides employment and personal development support to young people aged 16-35 across the Walsall and wider Black Country area.
The programme aims to help young people break down barriers that prevent them from progressing into meaningful employment and opportunities.
There are 3 strands to Pathways, all of which have a creative spin on traditional employment support: Personal Progression Pathway, Creative Industry Pathway, and Employability Pathway.
In this blog post, we will be breaking down the 3 pathways into detail and seeing how our participants have been doing so far. Read on to get clued up on all things Pathways.

How are our participants doing?
Several of our Pathways Participants have now reached the halfway point in their programmes, so we have been conducting check-ins with them. These catch ups allow the team to speak to our participants to find out exactly how they have been getting on and to see if any amendments need to be made for their remaining sessions.
So what have participants been saying so far?
Jayden told us that he enjoys the use of Kahoot quizzes in sessions because it actually helps him to learn things, and that he feels like the sessions have been adapted well to meet his individual needs. Ryan has said that he is enjoying being able to receive mentoring whilst with us as he is able to explore further into the routes to achieving his goals.
