THE WAY YOUTH ZONE PROJECT 2024
Delivery and Outcome
In October 2024, we began delivering our Pathways programme in a group environment at youth centre The Way Youth Zone, in Wolverhampton. Over 12 weeks, we had the pleasure of working with a number of young people, enhancing their abilities, exploring
creative skills such as camera skills, podcasting, editing and production planning, as well as modern entrepreneurial topics such as personal branding and transferable skills such as presentation skills.
One of the young people, Kira, showed a particularly positive attitude towards the sessions and was always really engaged. As she attended all of the sessions, we were able to go into more detail and provide additional skills like helping with project planning and recording her own podcast episode.
